The Women’s Centre of Calgary provides women with a place to get assistance, connect with others, and create change in their lives and community. Its peer model is central to the organization’s work, with volunteers helping other women through support, advocacy, and practical services. Opportunities include Peer Support, Community Connector, Food Bank Satellite Depot, Lawyer, Tax Preparer, Girl Power After School, and We Lead YYC, as well as group volunteering and care kit assembly through the Kits for a Cause program.
